Well little lovelies, funny story.... I graduated High School yesterday. Cue the applause and mass amounts of confetti. And even as I sit here, typing this post on my brand new laptop that my parents gave me as a grad present, it still doesn't feel real at all. I feel like I'm going to be walking down the halls of my High School in a few months but that is not the case at all. I'll by moving into my new dorm room and leaving everything I once knew behind.
Remember when I said cue the confetti? Well yeah, we definitely did. What you don't see in this picture is the mass amount of chaos that took place after the blue, green, and white paper littered the ground. A few people who were just a bit too excited to never have to step foot into the hell like building we've resided in for the past four years and decided, it would be fun to stand on their chairs and throw anything they could find.
Being the oldest of four, and the first to graduate, it was a bit emotional for my parents to say the least. My mom was as gorgeous as ever and my brother was the goof that he typically is.
Everyone was on such a high after the ceremony, the last thing we wanted to do was stand still and take pictures, but we knew that we had to document the event. I mean you only graduate high school once right?
And of course it's all even more special when you have your best friend right by your side. If you are lucky enough to have a best friend that is amazing as she is, don't let him, or her go. While most people are being spilt from their friends as they attend different colleges, I'm happy to say that I get to stay with her for another four years. Knowing all the while that my four years of high school provided me with a friend that I will have for the rest of my life.
And it's safe to say that we kinda lost it when we saw one another.
So if you graduated this year, CONGRATS, I'm so happy that you get to leave that horrid building that they deem a school. I wish you all the happiness in your future endeavors and thank you for even taking the time to read about mine. So class of 2014, all though high school kicked our ass for four long and grueling years, everyone can KISS OUR C14SS!
xx, Lex
