A Quick Update

It's been a while since I've actually just sat and had a chat with you all. Things have been quite chaotic as of late and as much as I would love to post everyday it's extremely hard. Things get in the way and you have to prioritize. No matter how much I love typing and creating posts they sometimes need to be tossed to the back burner, I hate doing it but sometimes you just don't have a choice. I applaud bloggers who do have the ability to post every single day, because you think it would be easy but a lot actually goes into each post. You write them in order to have your voice heard, whether it's by thousands of people or just one. But with the start of summer things are going to be much easier for me in regards to posting. For one, I'll have loads more to post about and much more time to do it. I just wanted to take the time to first off thank you for taking the time out of your hectic lives to even read this. I'm just a normal girl who honestly doesn't have much to talk about, so the fact that you even sit in front of your computer or on your phone to read what I'm saying is amazing to me. I also wanted to kind of tell you guys what you can be expecting soon. I'm leaving for London tonight or early tomorrow morning and I couldn't be anymore excited! From London I'll then be taking the train, or whatever it's called to Paris. And on those trips I've decided to try my hand at vlogging. And it could either turn out extremely well or horribly so we'll see how that goes. But I plan on getting back to outfit posts and things along those lines. I hope everyone is having an amazing start to summer and I can't wait to share my adventures with you all!

All my love,
Lex

Kiss My C14ss

Well little lovelies, funny story.... I graduated High School yesterday. Cue the applause and mass amounts of confetti. And even as I sit here, typing this post on my brand new laptop that my parents gave me as a grad present, it still doesn't feel real at all. I feel like I'm going to be walking down the halls of my High School in a few months but that is not the case at all. I'll by moving into my new dorm room and leaving everything I once knew behind.

Remember when I said cue the confetti? Well yeah, we definitely did. What you don't see in this picture is the mass amount of chaos that took place after the blue, green, and white paper littered the ground. A few people who were just a bit too excited to never have to step foot into the hell like building we've resided in for the past four years and decided, it would be fun to stand on their chairs and throw anything they could find.

Being the oldest of four, and the first to graduate, it was a bit emotional for my parents to say the least. My mom was as gorgeous as ever and my brother was the goof that he typically is.

Everyone was on such a high after the ceremony, the last thing we wanted to do was stand still and take pictures, but we knew that we had to document the event. I mean you only graduate high school once right?

And of course it's all even more special when you have your best friend right by your side. If you are lucky enough to have a best friend that is amazing as she is, don't let him, or her go. While most people are being spilt from their friends as they attend different colleges, I'm happy to say that I get to stay with her for another four years. Knowing all the while that my four years of high school provided me with a friend that I will have for the rest of my life.

And it's safe to say that we kinda lost it when we saw one another.

So if you graduated this year, CONGRATS, I'm so happy that you get to leave that horrid building that they deem a school. I wish you all the happiness in your future endeavors and thank you for even taking the time to read about mine. So class of 2014, all though high school kicked our ass for four long and grueling years, everyone can KISS OUR C14SS!

Amusement at its Finest

So this past weekend I went to a lovely little local Amusement park with my family. It was a day full of thrills, screams, and sweat. Goodness was there sweat, because it was a ripe 90 degrees that day.

There were some lovely little bonding moments between my younger brother and I. Fun fact, he's twelve years old and an entire head taller than me.

Since it was absolutely scorching outside, and I knew I would be left to the will of the sun and heat, i decided to opt for something that would keep me cool while remaining functional. Just choosing a crop top and a loose pair of overalls along with white vans. And of course I had to eat a Popsicle too, that one is kind of a given.
